Unpopular Dissent

I started this blog not only as an outlet for my political and social commentary, but also as an exercise in gathering my thoughts and articulating them in both a cohesive and an organised manner. I named the blog “Unpopular Dissent” as a kind of redundancy; dissent never starts out “popular” in the sense that it has popular support. The name also refers to my opinion, which is undoubtedly not held by the majority of the population. I am but one voice of dissent in a sea of apathy and privilege.
